Dr. Douglas Pacaccio is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then completed 3 years of Surgical Residency training at INOVA Fairfax Hospital a level 1 trauma center in Falls Church, Virginia. During this time he served as the Chief Resident of the Plastic Surgery Limb Salvage Team at the prestigious Georgetown University Hospital. He specializes in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, surgical repair of peripheral nerve disorders, diabetic charcot reconstruction, external fixation, arthroscopy, orthopedic traumatology, and limb salvage.

Dr. Pacaccio served on the Board of Directors and was a founding member of MedShape Solutions, Inc. an Atlanta based medical device company. He is named on several orthopedic device patents. He is the past president of the Illinois Podiatric Medical association. He serves on committees at the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association as well as several hospital committees.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and children and family. He is an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoys cooking and making wine.

Dr. Thomas Nordquist received a bachelor's degree in French from Brigham Young University. While earning his doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, he received a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, as well as a Masters in Healthcare Administration at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He performed his surgical residency at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL, Following his residency trainined, Dr. Nordquist spent an additional year receiving further specialized fellowship training in peripheral nerve surgery, charcot reconstruction, total ankle replacement, and other surgical techniques. He is trained in general podiatric care, diabetic wound care and limb salvage, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, as well as peripheral nerve surgery.

Dr. Nordquist enjoys teaching. He has tutored medical students and continues to mentor and teach residents and fellows. He is a published author, skilled lecturer, and enthusiastic teacher. He continues to perform research in his field and presents his findings at national conferences.

Dr. Nordquist is a Canadian-American, with a love for hockey and his family and any really any competitive sport. He is fluent in French, and also has experience running a grain-bin construction company. He enjoys spending time with his family, biking alone and with his five children, as well as hiking and camping. He volunteers whenever he can. He continues to volunteer at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon every year. He has assisted at the Shamrock Shuffle, Hustle Up The Hancock, and other smaller local and area events. He is an active member of his church and has served in leadership positions and currently works with the regional youth organization.
