Husband-and-wife-team, Dr. Douglas Pacaccio DPM  and Dr. Jennifer Pacaccio DPM,  handle all types of foot and ankle care from acute foot and ankle fractures, flat foot reconstructive surgery, Achilles tendon ruptures, nerve entrapment, peripheral nerve injuries and diabetic wound care to basic podiatric conditions such as ingrown toenails and bunions.   They are on staff at several local hospitals and surgical centers near the Sycamore and Yorkville areas.

Natives of Illinois, Drs. Douglas and Jennifer Pacaccio are both licensed podiatrists who are University trained and qualified to perform both Foot AND Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. They are both published authors in several medical journals and guest lecture to physicians, surgical residents, medical students, and the local community.

Our podiatrists specialize in foot and ankle surgery including; bunions, hammertoes, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, diabetic charcot reconstruction, external fixation, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, pediatric and adult flat foot reconstruction, and peripheral nerve conditions.

Dr. Douglas Pacaccio and Dr. Jennifer Pacaccio both earned their doctor of podiatric medicine degree at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL.  Both trained at INOVA Fairfax Hospital at Level 1 Trauma Center in Falls Church, Virginia.   Later, both Dr. Douglas Pacaccio and Dr. Jennifer Pacaccio served as a chief resident of the Plastic Surgery Limb Salvage Team at the prestigious Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.

In the spring, Dr. Douglas Pacaccio and Dr. Jennifer Pacaccio travel to Africa with Physicians for Peace to perform reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including clubfoot surgery, post-polio paralytic reconstructive surgery, and revision of neglected foot and ankle trauma. They also serve as board members for Limb Rescue International. Their surgical mission work focuses on bringing education and training for treatment of severe limb deformity and disease to developing countries.
